Debugging Techniques
Post by Jack Kelly on Oct 14th, 2016, 8:14pm

Richard,

I added a page to the LB Booster Technical Wiki entitled Debugging Techniques. It is an article I wrote for the LBPE with input from several members of the LB forum.

http://bb4w.wikispaces.com/Debugging+Techniques+%28LBB%29

I'd appreciate your having a look at it and letting me know if you have any comments, criticism, or additional ideas. With your approval I will add it to the wiki index.

Thanks,
Jack

There's nothing that I would want to criticise. You've done a good job of keeping it 'LB4/LBB neutral', for example in avoiding differences in the way the debuggers work.

From a personal perspective I would probably have put more emphasis on the value of writing 'structured' code; for example my dislike of GOTO is well known. But that's controversial and I can quite understand it if you're reluctant to go down that path.

Richard.
