Problem running on old laptop...
Post by James on Feb 5th, 2012, 05:00am

Not sure if this is my fault or not, but I'm having trouble running a program on a 486 laptop running w95...

I'm guessing these are the specs:

32 MB RAM, 70 Mhz CPU

--------

Psalm 42:5) Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

Yes, sorry, LBB isn't compatible with Windows 9x. The minimum version of Windows required is Windows 2000 - I ought to put that information in the docs.

I considered supporting Win9x (the underlying BBC BASIC engine does), but felt it would be too limiting. Microsoft themselves do not support anything earlier than Windows 2000.

Richard.
