xx Pasting into the INPUT statement
« Thread started on: Feb 6th, 2015, 06:57am »

Hello Richard. Hello everybody.

Follow up to Copy/Paste in LBB' ".tmp" window topic.

Personally I feel offended each time I try to paste into mainwin input statement in JB/LB. It *pretends* to work without actually working!

So. Since you said Quote:
That would in principle be possible,

I will post it to a wishlist.
Please try to make clipboard paste work with Mainwin Input statement.

(as for
Quote:
In Liberty BASIC using the mainwin for anything other than debugging purposes is deprecated. You are encouraged to use the GUI for all your user-oriented input/output, and to add a nomainwin statement once your program is working correctly.

I don't care about "deprecated" until my program works right, and mainwin-only program is fine for me)

It's a tricky one for me because, although it's not difficult to achieve, the code is rather messy and it would lengthen all LBB executables a little. What do others feel about this feature?

Me too, but I remind people that Liberty BASIC is principally a GUI language in part to explain why I haven't put as much effort into mainwin compatibility.

Richard.
