LB Booster is available via the LBB Home Page. You will find everything you need there.

Also, be sure to check the LBB Wiki!

Very strange. I've just checked the download URL and it works perfectly here. I can only assume the site was off-line for a short time just when you were trying to access it. Generally it has a good availability.

http://lbbooster.com/LBB.exe

Preferably create a directory specifically for LBB and save the file there. The EXE is digitally signed so your browser (or anti-virus software) shouldn't be blocking it for security reasons.

api.viglink.com is what I see appearing on my screen.
After that nothing ever comes up.

You shouldn't be seeing Viglinks either on conforums.com (here) or on lbbooster.com (the LBB site). Are you sure you're not operating through a proxy? I hope your ISP isn't inserting them!

Make sure that when you hover over the download link the URL displayed in the status bar is http://lbbooster.com/LBB.exe - if you see anything containing the word Viglink don't click on it but simply type (or copy-and-paste) the correct URL into the address bar directly.

Failing that, download the file on another PC and then copy it across via a USB stick or something.

Russel, I tried another system and it did not work.
I updated my browser and I got a message that said The
server was taking to long to respond and to try again later.
I am currently using a major provider called Bluehost.com
I have been with them for years and I am unaware of any problems with this provider. I see that you are using a conforms forum. I use this same forum with alyce and the liberty basic forum.
Is the program small enough to email it to me?

Richard, I have done everything that you asked.
I am simply trying to provide you with what I am seeing on my end. I tried pasting in the link and that did not work.
I will contact my provider today. I am not trying to be a bother.
Thanks
Texas Pete
I have not seen anything like this except when a site is down or is being blackballed by google.

Nor me. I did wonder whether perhaps your ISP had blacklisted the site that hosts lbbooster.com (Meirhosting) but I would have expected that to affect viewing the site, not just downloading the file. If it is that there's a mirror you can use at:

http://www.rtrussell.co.uk/lbb/LBB.exe

Another thought was that, like some email providers, your ISP might block the download of EXEs 'for your protection'. But I've never heard of that, and in any case the file is digitally signed using a certificate from a respected company (Comodo).

Can you not ask a friend, who uses a different ISP, to download the file and then send it to you? That may strictly speaking violate copyright but in the circumstances I would have no objection.

If you do find out the cause please report back here in case somebody else encounters the same thing.

Richard.

Russel,
I think your site is being blacklisted. I tried the mirror location and it downloaded immediately. If I can help you in any other way. Please feel free to contact me. I would love to be able to look at your home page but the same time out problem occurs. On every link that I except for the mirror link.

Please ask your ISP if that is the case, and if so why.

Edit: The blacklist checker here doesn't report any problems with lbbooster.com (94.229.68.18):

My hosting provider has asked that you please perform the following steps:
  1. Clear your browser's cache.
  2. Check your firewall, to ensure it is not blocking anything it shouldn't.
  3. If it still doesn't work, run a tracert on lbbooster.com and send me the report (if you don't know how to run tracert I have listed the instructions below).

Richard.

To run tracert:

Richard, I ran the trace and am sending you the copy.

Richard, Here are the service providers ip addresses.
I for forgot about the "whois" .com . It had been a long time, since I used them. Let me know if you learn anything.
I might switch to comcast if there are any problems.
Thanks

No, what is needed is your public IP address. Please follow the instructions I gave (www.who.is NOT whois.com) and let me know as soon as possible, because my hosting provider is waiting for the information. I really would appreciate you doing this urgently.

OK, here is their explanation. It certainly is interesting!

"The IP range to which this IP belongs was previously assigned to an ISP in Senegal, where numerous malicious activities originated. It appears that ISP has dropped the IP range but the block remained on our network. I have now removed the block and will monitor activity within the range".

Can you check to see if you can now access http://lbbooster.com?

Russel, I now have access. I feel so much better knowing it wasn't my fault. I know at first you thought I was crazy. I would like to ask a question about a relateted topic. Can somethink like this hurt your rankings on google. My other business web pages have been dropping in ranking for no real reason.
