Images in this forum

Hi Richard,

I just went by any chance on the CONFORUM's website and saw in the features that images can be attached (http://www.conforums.com/features.html).

Is this an option we should pay for or is it just deactivated?

Images work just fine, as far as I know (there is a button in the 'Post Message' toolbar to insert an image):

So then I'm missing something (..).

Is it a link you insert between the image tags or what?

I ment "how do I upload an image on the forum".

The forum does not host the actual image, that would take megabytes of storage and bandwidth. What you need to do is find somewhere to store the image and then paste the url link between the image tags.

You can get free hosting, some are intrusive, some are less so. Webs.com will let you have a web presence and allow you to store images and files to distribute and share.

Other folks might have better suggestions where to store the actual image. Conforums only needs the url link to the image.

I can't vouch for it personally, but this site is designed for that exact purpose ("Get permanent links for Facebook, Twitter, message boards and blogs"). Here's an image I uploaded there as a test:
