Thanks for your work and kindness!

I wrote Alyce about this back in 2010 but she said she didn't know how to make it work on Vista. I was eventually able to do low quality recordings, but not like in XP.

What would be nice is to have a way to record 44100 .wav like this:

smiley

[record]
recwave "blabla.wav", 44100
wait

[stop]
stoprec

I've made a program for recording and automatically adding timed speech to videos. I remember this being a big problem. sad

P.S. I did try a solution where LB would launch a command line utility, but it was too clunky. It needed to be integrated, tight with the program.

I've got BBC BASIC code which does it - and it works under Windows 7 - but frankly I'm not very motivated to translate it into Liberty BASIC. Sorry.

If you don't mind your program being LBB-specific, a hybrid solution in which the 'main program' is in LB but the audio capture is in BBC would be possible, in principle.

Thanks Richard, I know the feeling... whatever you do is great... cheesy

Why do you add Biblical quotations on the end of your posts? It's not Christian hatred (for I'm one!), but I just wondered why.
